    Hello I am new here I just picked up a 55gal tank that came with 2 hob filters a light a stand and about 25 pounds of live rock, I have sand/salt/chemicals/2 powerheads and a test kit on the way ;D

    Welcome! You may want to add more rock (depending on the rock, you can get away with 1lb/gal, I have about 100lbs combined live and dry in my 55). You should also look into adding a skimmer as well. What are your plans for livestock and/or corals?

    And post some pics as mentioned once you get it situated :)

    As of now I'm sticking to fowlr, seeing how I am a junior in high school with no job, and my pockets are already empty from what I got so far, but adventually I'll uprgrade to a skimmer but I'm I'm also going to buy some dry rock asap, and of course I'll post pics once I'm situated :)
    Edit: I also just order 2 800gph power heads just yesterday.
