    Hey everyone,

So I just bought a 72gal bowfront off craigslist that was an established tank. It only has maybe 10 lbs of live rock and about 60-70lbs of live sand. It only had 3-4 hermits in it when I got it, No fish. It has a very nice matching stand that would give me plenty of room to put something under there. I am currently running a penguin 350 bio-wheel hang on filter and a fluval 405 in the cabinet. I have 1 aqua clear 30 power head and a heater rated for 90 gal.

I plan on doing alot more rock and I would like to have coral and anemonies and such. I want this to be a nice community tank where everything gets along and works together.

So back to sumps/refugiums. Is it neccessary to have one? What are advantages and dis-advantages? Do I have what I need to make one besides the tank or do i need more stuff? Being that the tank is glass I would prefer not to drill if I can help it.

If anyone can help me out I would appreciate it. If you know a link for info or another post that may help, get me the link and I will look it over.

Thanks for any help and I love this site, so much info.
