new to the family

Awesome fish....

 

so i set up my uv sterilizer (ran out right after work. made the bf take me) and set it up to the tank to get thoughs bastard ich parasites off my por tang.....how long will it take for me to see a difference?
i know it wont be for a while still. its been running for 3 hours now.

 

did the uv say what the circulation rate is? what kind did you get?

 

it is a coralife turbo twist x3...it says it depends on the flow rate of the filter i have. that does 164 US gals an hour....

 

probably by tomorrow night you should see a big difference!

 

oh good. lets hope my regal can hang in there. shes been eating and swimming all normal. doesnt seem to have an issue...alot of the ich is actually gone too, seems to be making its way back though (so annoying) but this should stop it! mwahahahaha

 

after you see the ich is gone wait a day or two and then take/turn it off. you don't want to keep it on all the time. it'll kill the good and bad stuff if you leave it on too long....

 

thanks again...i wont leave it on. i just want thoughs buggers (ich) dead!
