    Hey everyone

So its been about a year since i killed my whole tank off and i ended up getting out of the hobbie. But im starting to get back into it. So i got a 75 gallon tank with 29 gallong sump. Im useing a c-skim 1800 protein skimmer. In the sump i got bio balls a live rock. at the moment im not useing any media not sure if i should or not? This tank has been running for little under six month and i have yet to kill anything lol Knock on wood but anyways i just wanted to share this with everyone and see what you all thought likes and dislike all comments welcome

    Looking good, so far. :)

    Two (opinionated) suggestions:

    1) Remove the bio-balls as they're fairly high maintenance. Besides, you have plenty of live rock and sand for your bio filter.

    2) It might help in the long run if you use a sock on your sump. It will need cleaning periodically, but it will trap particulate matter and keep it from collecting in the sump.

    Good luck...
