    Greetings All,
I've been a freshwater tank 46G (a 55G and a 35G currently not in operation) fan for many years just decided with a little bonus from work to dive into the saltwater world.

I picked up a 29G Oceanic Biocube (20% off for buying the display ;D)

I do have one decent local fish store but it's a bit of a drive and those that are closer to me aren't that great at dealing out advice so here I am to talk to other enthusiasts.

If this goes well I may get my 55G out of storage and put it back into action.

I'm looking to go for a reef tank w/ minimal fish and a modest assortment of invertebrates.

welcome to 3reef. good luck with the tank setup. a friend of mine has a oceanic 14g biocube, and she loves it. works really well, just take things slow.

Welcome, I have a biocube 29 as well and love it. I think you will quickly find that a 55 is just too small as well :)

Lots of good advice on these forums for your biocube :)

    Good Luck!

I read a lot of good things about them. They seemed well suited for a complete SW beginner like myself.

funny you say that I was just negotiating a 100+ with the wife last night

    thanks!

If I had waited a week I would have been Steve35
