    Hello, Just started my reef tank. Its a 40 gallon tall, with live sand and live rock for starters. been running for 2 days. Im using a sub filtration under the tank. My natural filter has crushed coral with a couple of small live rock. Well my first question of many would be, just sit back and let in run for a week or two?::)

    Do I need a protein skimmer or jet head this early in the game or just let it run for a couple of weeks before tweaking?
