I just downsized and consequently upgraded my 55G polyp reef to a new 50G SeaClear. I have been in the marine hobby off and on for the last 12 years. This tank is somewhat of an experiment for me in several ways as it is a first for me in terms of many things. It is my first time going without a skimmer, first time using a fuge, and first time using this little LR and first time going with low lighting. Normally I would pack the tank with rock and then wonder why I never could rid myself of dead spots. That was the biggest factor for why I got rid of the 55G...its narrow width and length made it super difficult to get circulation. Anyway here are the specs on the tank.

2x39watt Current T5HO....Current 12K bulb, Azoo 420nm Actinic. Given the fact my most light hungry species are some star polyps this should be adequate. If not I can toss another fixture on there.

    2xKoralia 2 pumps

    1xKoralia 1 pump

    1xKoralia 550 Evo pump

1xAc110....I modded this as a refugium and place for chemical media. The fuge part just has Chaeto...and has a 10watt CFL for lighting. The media compartment has 250ml Sea Gel, 100ml Purgen, Carbon and a Polyfilter

20lbs Tahitian Moon Sand...was going BB yet hated the look and I had a new bag of TMS in storage. It is a fine layer so it will be easily kept clean

~60lbs LR....mostly Pacific East rock, there is some Tampa Bay rock in as well

Corals are sparse as I sold most of them prior to the move...I do have some regular star polyp, red palys, green palys, yellow polyps, hairy mushrooms, and a few sparse zoas of various types

Fish I only have 3 at the moment; 1 black ocellaris, 1 royal gramma, and 1 blue damsel
