Hello, My name is Heidi. I go by just that on other sites but it was taken on here :p I have a 150g marineland "cube" 36x36x27. I set up the cube in March 2011. Before that I had a 35 gallon Hex tank that was my first reef tank. I did a ton of research before I got a tank "wet", after a trip to the Bahamas in February of 2009. Everywhere my husband go on vacation seems to include snorkeling and seeing the beauty of the natural reef. I love problem solving and biology and art. I think that these three interests of mine are the main draws to this hobby for me.
I am from Michigan. I am married and have 4 kids. I stay at home with my children which is the hardest most frustrating job I have ever had. It is what is best for our family however so I grin and bare it ::)
Below I put a picture of me on my 30th bday last year (Yikes I know) and some pictures of my tanks. I don't tank the best pictures as most of them are taken with a fuji underwater camera or my iPhone, but I think they are pretty good. Nice to meet all of you!!

    Welcome to 3 reef Heidi,

You have some very nice tanks and beautiful corals. Great cube, you have a ton of room to add stuff.

Thank you Corailline! I keep telling myself I will just stop now and let these grow but then my buddy gets new acros or zoas in and... woohooo I am adding more stuff :) I was going for a minimal "live rock" look in there so I am thinking once all those rocks are full I might stop... or add more rock lol
