    Make sure there's enough air over the top of your tank. Open the hood, take off the cover, or whatever, to let gas exchange happen. CO2 buildup causes low pH.

    Just did my first 10% water change. I survived.

    Thanks blkraven, i was thinking of changing direction of my power heads too.

    if your cycle isnt fully run its course, its usually unadvisable to do a water change. it will prolong the dycle. just keep an eye on your params. youre slowly gwettin through this boring phase. lol. good luck
