its an Arcadia 1 watt Blue LED spot light, that uses suckers (Yep Ill be messing with that) to hold the lamp to the aquarium wall and is multi adjustable so you can focus on 1 coral

as you can imagine, I have chosen my avatar coral for this lighting experiment to see if I can encourage an even brighter blue appearance on this piece

this last image was taken with all other lights off, so you can see just how much blue light this small unit does in fact put out

thats pretty cool, I think 1 watt is pretty darn bright for a spot light at night. I used to have a 1 watt moon light.

very nice! you might be getting some real nice fluorescent green coloration on some pieces if you keep them under spotlight long enough ;)

I know I got some VERY bright greens after I put on my LEDs

    thats awesome
seems a bit like there should be some kind of heavenly music played whenever someone first walks in and sees it lol (hopefully someone understands what i mean!)

    thanks Dingo
I may experiment with moving it about and featuring other corals
once I get the sucker glued onto a magnet ( Ill use spare K clone magnet mount and superglue for this purpose )

Is it something you can get more of? Who know's? If the coral end up yielding positive results after some time, you may want more!

    At least your having fun!
