Just had this dropped off about an hour ago and cant wait to get it hooked up. Its the 5 stage 75gpd RO/Di plus unit from bulk reef supply. My last RO setup somehow found its way into a trade for some of the lights over my tank, and I have been left with hauling water from the LFS for almost 6 weeks now. This one is WAY cooler than my old one with the dual TDS sensors, pressure guage, and flush kit.

I'm planning on installing it to a faucet tap outside, and running it around the house (maybe 30 feet or so), through my living room window, and into a float valve in my sump. Also I'll need to find a wye for the output so I can fill buckets / trashcans for mixing water for water changes. Anyone do anything similar with their RO?

Great new toy, I dont recommend installing it outside thou, even if you cover it, the filters dont last as long. Of course, it all depends on where you live too. I installed mine in my laundry room.

Nice. I would get the BRS one too. My LFS is 1 minute away and I can get DI water at work. I just have not seen the need to stop hauling water yet.

Nice but I also don't recommed installing it outside may cause problems later.

lol, its not getting installed outside . . . its on the wall next to my tank. The line in is running from an exterior faucet tap around the house, through a window to the RO/Di. I made a DIY auto top off with some plexi and a float valve today at work that will be getting hooked up as soon as i'm done with my sammich. Then i'm waiting till dust to run the hose around the house, might even bury it to keep it cool, not sure if i'll have too yet.

I have that exact same unit. Right now it's in the laundry room. It kicks azz so far.

thanks! The avatar is a macro shot of some zoas I bought taken by the original owner. It has to be photoshopped as the purple pallys on the rock are white. The radioactive dragon eyes look un-edited as there identical to the ones I received.

Everything is hooked up, and now i'm thinking about trying to shoehorn a bigger sump in there somehow as i'm running out of realestate fast. my water is at 6 tds before Di, and 0 after it, and holds steady at 50 psi despite being run through about 35 feet of 1/4" tubing.
