I got my Tunze Multicontroller 7095 in today. I thought you guys/gals might be able to give me some suggestions of how to set it up for my tank. 120gl,4x2x2, softies and LPS. I'd love to get it set up tonight if I could.

    Thanks, Cindy

Never mind, I just didn't read far enough in the book to where it had an example set up.

I set it up on Interval 1, 1-60 min, and button #3 at 30 sec. and seems to be working fine.

I will still take any advice or suggestions that you might have .

How do you find that it best works for you?

Congrats! I am not sure how it works best. The directions I found to be pretty poor. :-/ I have it working and I am happy! LOL! ;) ;D

Thanks, that's kind of how I feel right now. Its working and its wonderful that its not blowing stuff around like it was with out the controller. And how nice not to have to plug in one pump in the morning and then unplug it and plug the other one in for the evening!  I love it!! :) Before the controller I was having trouble with it blowing my clam around too much, almost turning it over and now its mantle just gently flows.

I don't know yet where to mount everything. I'm concerned about it getting wet until it is mounted so I've got it all in a bucket with the lid just laying on top.

I love mine. It's nice to be able to control the pump so well. You can also adjust the wattage output on the 'driver.'

    ENJOY! :)

Do you mean that rectangular box? I was told that it needed to be turned all the way up to be used with the controller or it could hurt the pump.

It's amazing what all it can do!

Yeah the box. I didn't read anything about damage from adjustable. I don't think they would allow you adjust it if it hurt the pump. ;) :)

    I agree, it's cool. 8)

Something about it being used with the controller. I had my box turned all the way down cause it was too strong. Someone else on one of the other boards that also has the Streams said he was told by ???? whoever to be sure and turn the box to the max. I'll check with him to find out for sure what the deal was.

My instruction booklet said the same...turn pumps to full power while using the multicontroller. You control the flow from the multicontroller. ;D

    Hi Matt!

I e-mailed my friend and this was the response that he got from Roger Vitgo(not sure of his last name) who is the distributor in Austin, Tx, and does repairs on the Tunzes.

"Yes. That is what Roger told me. He stated that it would damage both the controller and the pump. And on top of that, it will void your waranty."

I was glad I asked him about that. I didn't remember the part about voiding the warranty.
