    Tunze Osmolator NANO, Water Level Regulation System.

    Tunze Osmolator Nano water level controller with only one sensor for nano aquariums or small aquariums with up to 200 liters (55 USgal.), placeable into cabinet filter systems or on the edge of the aquarium. Scope of delivery: ready for installation with 11V power supply, low-voltage metering pump, 3m (118 inch) hose, magnet holder for up to 10mm (0.39 inch) glass thickness and a protective cover for the sensor.
    Available Nov. 2012.

    I can't believe that they opted for a mechanical float instead of there optical switch for the water line...

    Great catch. I thought that was the high level alarm like on the full-size one I have. :eek:
    Why would they do that? To keep the cost down?

    I assume.. but it seems to me, that smaller water volumes call for the precision of the optical switch over the float.

    Looks to me they were looking to be in that $100 price point. Most other companies offer top-off units in the same price range when the pump price is added. I know many will choose this nano if offered for a similar price.
