    Its personal preference whether you want chord inside or out of tank. I think tunze pumps look just as good if not better then vortech pumps. It would be cool if they made an external chord pump though i'm afraid there would be no more vortech :(

    The e jet looks nice though. Can't see why you would want to use it as a powerhead instead of tunze streams. Probably better suited for use with hoses. I cant say I'll replace all my maxi jets but ill definately try it out.

    I guess it depends where you have the pump in your tank. Mine is near the surface and the chord is barely in the water. You can't see it in the tank.

    Tunze is catching up a bit on mounting lately. The magnet mounts are a recent deal for them. They have been euro-centric traditionally with mounting rails for rim-less tanks that are more common there.

    The pumps are Rolls-Royces though - the mounts will continue to evolve as they have been lately and I bet we will see an answer to Vortech mounting in the near future. Probably will be different though as I imagine Vortech has a patent on that design.
