    Asterina Starfish are everywhere and attacking my zoas. I pity the fools. :evilgrin:

    Ok guys, I need some intelligence. What's the best line of attack against them?!

    Snatch and grab, just pull them out...

    I have a few, but they dont mess with my zoas. They do eat my coralline though.

    Manual removal.

    You have to be able to turn the frag or zoanthid piece over because they hide under the piece during the day for the most part, so nocturnal removal is probably more effective.

    Asternia may become opportunistic eaters and some types are coral eaters and that includes sps although the coloration is completely different.

    I had one Asternia that ate at a colony for over a year until Dino killed off the colony. It never reproduced why I have no idea but I caught him red handed all the time.
