    Lighting is 4 54 watts 2 actinic + and 2 10k white

    It has been in the tank for a week, about 3 inches from the bottom tank is a 72 gallon bow front
    It is in moderate flow

    It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    Looks and sounds like all you can do is try different placement. Also check for predators at night as well. Do you have a pH value by any chance?

    Looks normal to me, since you just got it..Most of my xenia frags look like that for a few days until they get settled in..Then they look better.

    ph is 8.2 Dont think there are any predators,

    Do you think the placement is okay?or should I move them lower, I dont think they were under very powerful lights at the lfs

    What flow are they under?

    Xenia IME likes high light.

    they are in moderate flow. Should I move them up to higher flow and light?

    moderater flow is good, as mentioned before they need a bit of time to settle in.
