imo no seahorses should be kept in anything under a 55 gallon except dwarfs. which can be easily kept in a 5 gallon. anything smaller is not natural and they wont thrive.

 

no their are MANY thriveing seahorse tanks under 55. they are not big swimmers. i have mine in a 15 gallon QT and if they wont so messy i would think they could thrive in their

 

ok well im freaking out right now. my dad just told me to look at the rock very closely. i found a yellow tail damsal in the tank.... he said the tank needed somthing live in it. i called my LFS and they dont take returns. i can just get rid of it. what should i do.
i am relly freaking our right now

no seahorse species as previously stated should be kept in anything lets say now less than 29 gallons. fifteen just in my opinion seems quite unreasonable unless there is just one or they are of the dwarf variety. also the added damsel wont help.

ive had the same thing happen, my dad bought me a ritteri anemone even though i have a carpet and a sebae so that didnt turn out good, i just returned the sebae and still have the ritteri and carpet.

 

mmhmmm i might just have to ask if i can return this one time. or saltwaterguy you pay shipping and 25 dolelrs hahahahahahha jk. and i do aggree that no horses should be kept in a 15. but i do think that the minum for horses is 29 not 55
