So went to LFS to check on a fish they had gotten in on monday and low and behold someone broght this colony in for trade and I just had to have it. I think this is what coral collecting is all about. The second pic posted is my all time fav now. I can't wait to see this guy grow and spreed and I knew all of my 3reefers would enjoy this so here you go.

If you have a better nick name or real name I would love to hear, I just called them RGB for red green blue zoanthids

They look like watermelon zoas. Beautiful! At least, I was told these were watermelons and they look like ones I have - they have green rims, reddish polyps and hard to tell in the pic, but the center is a deep blue / purple.

They grow quickly too. I got my frag with about 13 polyps less than a month ago. Now I have about 25 polyps, and they're starting to drop off the frag rock. I hope to see them growing off the frag rock soon.

    Great find man!
