    Well, this is it. My first foray into coral. This is my first coral purchase ever! A colony of something that I forget the name of and a couple polyps of something called "Radioactive Zoas" or something like that.

    I found this website called FragFrenzy.com and it turns out the guy lives right here in town so last night I paid him a visit.

    So far they look pretty good, and as you can see for yourself, they all opened up!

    Any tips for me? I don't have a calcium reactor or kalkwasser or anything like that. I'm gonna try to stick with softies and LPS. No SPS for me.

    Beautiful colors!! I like them a lot!
    You won't need to dose anything for zoas that they won't get from regular WC's to replenish the elements.

    very pretty pieces. i really enjoy the coloraration. nice score and thats really sweet that the frag guy lives in the same town as you.
    i have softies and some lps in my tank and i dont have a reactor or anything of the like. i do test for calcium however. best of luck with them.
    BTW what kind of camera are you using?

    The camera is actually just a cell phone. Not bad eh? I think I found a new setting that works pretty well. It's an HTC Aria. :D


    Oh and thanks for all the positive comments! I'm excited!

    That's a really good picture for a cell phone. Very nice for first corals!

    Awesome zoas! Don't worry about dosing; Water changes will replenish necessary elements. what salt r u using?
