    2 clownfish a anemone a soft coral and a few snails and I use distilled water

    can you share why the store told you to turn the lights off? if you're cycled, there shouldn't be a reason to turn off your lights for a protracted amount of time - what type of anemone do you have? anemones need good high quality lighting.......

    They said it would kill off the red slime algae. I have a sabae(sorry if I spelled it wrong)

    it could help with the slime but lowering nutrients and perhaps adding some more flow with an additional powerhead may be more helpful

    Thanks for the help. I plan on going Saturday and getting two more powerheads to help it out
