Newb from CT

Hi gang-

My name is Justin, and I'm a newb to the forums.

I've had a few tanks over the years, and decided to bring back this one from the dead for my wife and I (and our 9 month old daughter who loves fish!) to enjoy.

Here's the stats:

30 Gal Freshwater rebuild
Steel stock/round tube stand
Marineland Penguin 350 Filter
Monster air pump
unknown heater
unknown hood.

We just replaced the gravel and plants, and added 3 orange Plattys and 3 silver tetras to get it cycling.

The plan is to replace the old hood/light and heater while stocking the tank over the next few weeks. Eventually, we'll upgrade to a larger tank depending on our needs.


So far, we're happy with how the tank looks with the new aquascape and fish!
