ok so heres the deal. I have two regal damsels and i want to add a baby snowflake (around 5") all i have for now is a 10 gallon but, i plan on moving all of them to a 20 gallon long until i get my 90 gallon going. would this be a good idea for about a month or two?

The eel would love the Damsels for a nice meal IMO - how long till you get the 90gal up?

I wouldn't put the snowflake in a ten, they have a large bioload. However once you get a larger system they may be compatable or may not be. I had a large snowflakewith a yelliwtail for 4 years and were pals. They ate somewhat blind. Good luck.

Definitely a chance of the damsels becoming a meal in the future and a larger tank would be in order also. A month or two you might be able to get away with.

I wouldn't advise keeping an eel in a 10 at all. 2 damsels alone will push the bio limits of a ten gallon tank.

yea i know having the two damsels in a 10 is pushing it but, it's only for a while till i get the 90 up (i have it just need a stand and start cycling). I may even move them to a 40 i have up in my attic. think that would work with the eel and the damsels?

is there a VERY specific reason you can't just wait till you have the 90? imho its not really worth the risk.

nope. thats why i'm asking before i jump the gun and do something stupid. the 90 i'm going to start in about a month or so. just depends when i get the stand because it's just an empty tank sitting in the living room haha.
