Newbie Help - what's best for a 75 gal setup?

Filter socks are great. They come in many sizes. Some people swear by them, some hate 'em. If you do not change them out twice weekly, they do become nitrate factories. Just beware.

thanks for that one !! I only change mine once a week and haven't seen any problems but my tank is pretty new still , so I will be switching to twice a week .
