Hey gang! Im only about 9 months into the saltwater aquarium thing and have a lot to learn. Would like to be able to rely on some of you all for information if you don't mind.
I have a 150 gallon aquarium that is set up and running as we speak.

Would you put a Eshopps' PSK-150 on a 150 gallon aquarium or go BIGGER and go with the PSK 200??

The 150 is only rated up to 150g. Which unfortunately means it is better for a smaller system. If your bioload is small, and you plan to keep it that way, It would work. If you like fish and want more than just a few, i would go bigger.

In the Eshopps line i would actually go for the PSK-300. It would allow for a higher bioload.

Welcome, mdbostwick has nailed it. The hobby rating for skimmers is highly debated and pretty much expected to buy a bigger than needed skimmer. It's also because we like to push limits and having a little extra wiggle room is a good safety net to have.

For example, I have a skimmer rated for 150g and I probably barely have 100g in my total system, after rocks etc.

What else do you have going on? What are you trying to do? And yes yes, more pictures! :D
