    I been looking for a tank and finally found a brand new 125 gallon with a stand and canopy for really cheap but here's the question the guy said he bought it new about 2 years ago and its been sitting in his living room and has never put water in it is there anything I should worry about

    you should be worried as long as it was i a contoled climate

    I would say before you give the guy the money make sure you fill it and let water sit in it for a day or so... that way if any leaks are there you will know it was damaged from being stored for so long. Is it reef ready? What kind of tank are you trying to have in the future? FOWLR? Coral?

    Don't know what you mean by reef ready but it doesn't have any holes drilled in the tank if that's what you mean and I would like to have coral tank . Can the silicone dry out over time from not having water in it ?
