Here are items from my 65 gallon which has been up and running for about 1-1/2 months. Some live rock and live sand mixed with dead rock and sand. First photo looks like it is getting bigger and resembles fuzzy glob. Second was on the rock when I purchased and is growing ok still. It looks like green grass. The third photo are what I am guesing to be some type of white polyp? Are any of these harmful? Leave em or get rid of em?:-/

#1 is some type of sponge. Harmless

#2 is the beginning of some type of macro algae. Possibly green gracilaria but probably some type of caulerpa.

#3 are a little harder to tell. To me they look like either pineapple sponge or bleached button polyps.

    Not 3 in either case.

2 could be if it turns out to be grape caulerpa. That stuff dominates fast and will over run the tank.
If you have herbivorous fish or crabs they'll most likely eat it befor it gets to that point.
