Newbie to the reef scene

just started a nano reef and hope I started it right. Thought I check the web and see what I could find. I found this site and thought I could get a lot f good info. I started a tiny 8gal biocube couldn't pass it up at $75 new and have been in to fresh water since I was knee high to a grasshopper. Any suggestion?

Hi and welcome first of all!
Yes get yourself as much knowledge and references as you can to help you to start off on the right foot!
Fish husbandry and compatability are big issues to address, then equipment questions. Corals and inverts? get familiar with them as well, then water oarameters, what each one represents, harmful, beneficial, how to's etc.
