Newbie!

I have 28 gal Euro. 2nd Nano type tank. 4 in Maroon clown. African somethin(looks like a snake?), watchman gobie, large sandshark type crab, xenia, 1 orange 1 green ricordea which have not opened fully yet, just had them a week have them at the bottom? Flower pot coral at mid of tank doing great, carpet anenome, purple tip haitian anonome, purple mushroom at top sideways seems to like it best there. All tank parameters are fine. Just impatient waiting for the ricordea. Any tips? Would like to add Zoas . Thanks. Dont have lots of $$. Retired and Disabled. But this is my pastime enjoyment besides my parakeet and two little dogs.

What type of lighting do you have?

Would like to see an image of your tank when you get a chance.

 

Lighting

I have not done anything with the lighting,. Standard compact lighting that I cannot tell you the #'s. I alternate the lowest lighting for lunar hours about 10-12, then use 2 switches(?) for about 9 hours and then all 3 which is very very bright for about 2-3 hours. I just go by what the critters react to.Maybe someone can tell me the numbers on the acitnic lighting and such so I wont sound like such a newbie for so long. I think this is call a Euro Reef 28 gal tank? Had a Nano but it got old fast after about 5 years. This one has Dual flow heads and a great filtration system in this tank. NOt too many full water changes. This seems to work. I have black sand and 20 pounds of live rock.
