    Hello fellow reefers!
This is the closest place to post this since I don't think there are many of you that have sharks or stingrays, especially, in their reef tanks.
At any rate, I was on my way home from work and decided to stop at one of the local pet shops, to avoid sitting in traffic.
Yeah, I went in thinking I was going to get some more carbon, food and a few more Yellow belly Damselfish...and get out of the store having spent a mere $30.00 or so!
Well, after pacing the floor and seeing all the nice fish, inverts and Caribbean live rock for JUST $6.99lb., the reef/marine tank addiction took affect as no drug was going to deter me from not buying something...
Ya-de-da-da, I know, get to the point? OK, already, so as I was coming around to the last couple tanks, I noticed something in one of their tanks housing a couple pieces of live rock!!! This was one of my dream picks and it caught my eye like nothing before...
A beautiful Yellow Stingray(Urolophus sp.)!!!!!!!!! about 6" long and wide! WOW, it was awesome and I had never seen a saltwater ray for sale or in any pet shop before. Always in books, or public aquariums, or ocassionally stepping on one in the Gulf of Mexico as I vacation down in Clearwater Beach, Florida.
So, of course, I bought it and it will go in my 75 Gallon tank for the time being! Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous, She's a beaut!
So that is my story and I am sticking to it...

I just have a Naso Tang and a Niger trigger and they are 4" in size, so no worries for now!
Next step is to train it to eat out of my hands so I can pretend that I am at Stingray City in the Cayman Islands!!! hahaha
    I can then charge admission...
I know, I have to be careful of their stinger(barb)!
Thanks guys and I will get some pics as soon as I get my camera!

Nice addition, congrats! Make sure you let KOgle know how it goes because he took one back after having it in his reef tank for a week. He was worried about his corals. :-/

    Hahahahaha!
Not going swimming with it in my tank...

Otty, this is a fish only tank with a few frags of Xenia and Brown Star Polyps only so for now the coral issue is ok for now.
I have to train my ray to eat out of my hands!!!!!!!!
Oh, the fun we will have!
