This is really simple and works great and looks nice.

All you do is take one of these:

Aquarium Plumbing Supplies & Accessories: Zoo Med MagClip Magnetic Suction Cup

and cut off the part where the tubing holder screws into the base and sand it until there's just a little bit sticking up

then get your maxi jet and if you look at the side there will be a little groove that runs along the powerhead where the stock hold fits into place. All you do is hot glue the magnetic suction cup base to the groove on the side of the power head and bam instant small $5 maxi jet magnetic holder.

see where the stock holder goes there is a groove

    thanks I appreciate it

lol hopefully I can come up with more stuff in the future.

    I did this with a MJ 600

but with the bigger models if one magnet wont support the weight you could always use two still only $8 a Big bulky pre fab mag support is like $20

    I like the ingenuity.

I used 2 of these mag clips for a small frag rack. They hold the rack well even on 3/8" thick glass.

How thick is your glass? I have a feeling this won't work on most tanks that are bigger because you need a very powerful magnet to hold up a powerhead.
