SOOOO I am still looking around and researching new fish that I might want. I think I have decided I want a pair of colorful, peaceful, small fish. I like the bicolor dottybacks. Are they aggresive? Can they live in pairs? Any other ideas of fish would be great! Currently I have an RSM 130d
(34 gallons). I also have 2 clown fish, a coral beauty, and mant inverts and corals. Thanks for the help! Pictures of any of the fish you reccomend would be great too!

If they are not a mated pair, they will fight. Mine were always out once they were fully acclimated. Hiding a lot can also be relative and the last two firefish I kept were in a nano by themselves. Not something you can order online unless specifically sold as "mated pair". Mine came from the local chain store and I was just real careful to pick fish that seemed to be paired up.

look at my list in my tank almost all are in pairs or more ( bartlett anthias are 3) anyway. the orchid dottys backs are great in a pair. get tank raised, juvenile fish.
i have done this twice with the orchid dotty backs in two tanks. when they are in pairs they are busy with each other and are not aggressive.
