Brought in a 55's worth of some real nice rock to LFS, and walked out with a Flame Angel, a school of yellow tail damsels, some peppermint shrimpies, 2 nice corals and a brick of food.
I told him I wanted fish credit, no cash, I've been putting his kids through the finest schools for decades.
Day 2, got two fire shrimp. Does anyone know where they are?

seems like a fair exchange to me Johnike

the fire shrimp are behind your rockwork , and may stay there for a while IME
They will eventually work out they are not on the menu and put in more appearances

I know you have heard this before
but good luck with the Flame , hopefully it respects your corals as tank decor

They might be hiding out and molting John. Shrimp tend to do this as a stress response when they're first added to a tank. I wouldn't worry about them just yet :)

    They hide really well IME

I had one in a 5 gallon nano that I thought had not made it ( how hard should something be to find in an 18 inch tank?)
couple of weeks later, there it is bold as brass on the very top rock
