What the heck is going on with my tank at night. Every moring I find rocks and corals all out of place. I reset everything in the morning and it's fine all day. The next morning it looks like a hurricane went through. The only things I have is a small cleaning crew, horseshoe crab, 3 clowns and a Damsel. I do have one small hitch-hiker that looks like an Emerald Crab.I see nothing else in the tank that could be doing this. Any comments appreciated...

I would use a flashlight to investigate before fish or corals start to go missing. my large turbo snails tend to knock things over.

My turbos are known to bulldoze small rocks / frags. I got some aqua stick and epoxied everything together, now everything stays in place.

I think someone is breaking in every night, just to mess up your tank and mess with your head.

I was having the same issue and finally caught the little "homewrecker".......Clue: it was the EMERALD CRAB, on the rocks, with the claw......

Fish, crabs, turbos are all known to move things around. But I would put my money on the shoehorse crab.

When you use a flashlight, try to put a red filter over the front of it, like a thin piece of plastic. Marine animals are less senistive to red light, they won't duck and hide when you shine red light on them.
