    Well after everything failing in my Picotope. I decided to start over. I boiled the rocks, replaced the sand, and upgraded the light, Bigtime!! I wanted the Current Satellite 12" but it was dis-continued. I checked out the Viper 70w MH, but after seeing it in person, decided it was too much light and size. I went with the Coralife 36w PC. I modified the legs to use it with a lid. Here are some pics.

    The tank is not getting hot...staying at 78. I put a small fan on the left, just in case.

    awesome! like I little tanks they are so easy to fill up! and Water changes are so quick to do.. now get a fish and a couple of frags in there. :)

    I have lost several fish in here...kinda gun shy..everything from Chromis, to Clown Gobies to Shrimp. Not sure what to try...Frags are coming soon, now that I have good lighting!:)

    Think I am going to coral it up first, and let it age this time first...we shall see. Man this thing is as bright as the t-5's on the 150. I think corals will do well in here now. Even sps.

    Well done, you should be able to grow anything under the light in that setup, congrats and enjoy
