yea you want it. its a stump!

I got this 7mb camera for free! I had a 10mb camera and this 7mb takes nicer pictures for some reason.. also the files are bigger with the cybershot, usally around 3mb jpgs.. my old camera was 10mb and only had about 2mb jpg files.. so go figure. with this camera you can actually see what Im seeing in person.. which is nice :)

yea its 100% better. It does everything without the hassle. I just turn flash off and macro on. point and click. soon as I seen the results, I knew you guys/gals would like some eye candy!

I'm what you can call camera illiterate. What settings did you use for these pics?

It may be a good idea to start a thread to see what gives the best results for aquarium pictures. Mine has an "Aquarium" setting, but the pics come out horrible. I found out that using the Macro function with flash (whether lights are on or off) gives me the best result on my Cannon camera... I forgot the model number :)

Sure send it, it'll grow. Might take a bout five years to branch out but I got nothing but time. LOL

No as much as I like your gorg, there's just no room for it in my display anymore. The last spot down low is reserved for a Lays Chip Pavona. Someday I might put a gorg in front of the return in my fuge. If the eel grass doesn't take off.

Anyway that camera does it's job well! Congrats on the pick up ;)

aquarium setting kinda sucked on my old camera. I just try auto focus, with no flash, and macro on. I like to turn off room lights. then do the same thing with manual focus and see how those work out.

thanks, I feel like a pro now :) you can actually see the patterns on my zoas now.. awesome!

you guys really want my little gorg frag! lol, you can get a tree for $20 around here. reefs2go has the stuff. purple, yellow, orange etc.. they also have a great selection of sponges too..

Here's a couple final pics for tonite. some actinic shots.. I almost forgot my mandarin goby shot! also my 2 wounded/recovering sps frags.. my purple digitata (bleached from mushrooms) and my green slimer (browned out from chemiclean dosing) both have good polyps extension and little purple coming back on 1 tip of the digi.. should be back 100% in a month. and I had to get a better shot of my new green button polyps.
