Well I finally got my sand in so here is my build thread. Got my liverock and live sand in tonight, now its a waiting game for the sand to settle. Hopefully my cycle won't be long seeing how its 100% live rock and live sand. I have about 15lbs of live rock and 20lbs of fuji pink live sand. Can't really see very much right now but here is a picture. I hope my scape looks ok, I kinda tried to imagine it the best I could before filling the tank. Mainly gonna be softies and eventually a rbt anemone but we'll see. For the folks that have followed along on one of my build threads before they seem to be all about the same style, to that I say I like what I like. Enjoy!

    Hardware:
    17g Mr. Aqua rimless tank
    20" maxspect razor led light

    Midnight ocellaris clownfish
    Black Ice ocellaris clownfish

    Pistol shrimp

Since I'm going sumpless with this tank evaporation has me concerned. One idea I had was to set a 1 gallon jug on the shelf above the tank and run a slow drip syphon to off set evaporation.

Handling evap in a sumpless tank is probably the biggest challenge, and the main reason I am drilling my tank. I'm interested in seeing what you come up with.

You can add a little bit of water every time you feed your fish and corals. It would be just like watering your dog when you feed them.
