Now that I have a sump, I don't ever see a tank without one in the future. I'm glad to see you going that route.

    Following along!

Well I have to have something to hold the top off water so I made a similar stand out of wood to house a 5g bucket. Did this bc I dont have room under my stand for a bucket. Looks weird but its necessary and I don't mind it too much.

I was thinking of doing the exact same thing in the future. Everything is looking great.

Overflow box came in. I had to drain the tank to move it a little further from the wall so the box will fit. Refilling the tank made it a little cloudy. Never had such a hard time setting up the box, the bulk head fitting kept leaking. Had to use pvc glue to seal it up. Hopefully this will keep the tank cleaner. Starting to see some diatoms. Need to set up the auto top off and finish up the sump. Its running for now so good enough for tonight.

Found the first hitch hiker! Little crab I believe idk what kind, an I.D. would be cool if anyone knows. It is kinda sitting pointing up, sorry for the bad pics. I went to check on the overflow, it being a new setup I dont trust it yet, to make sure it wouldn't make a mess in the middle of the night. That's when I noticed some movement in the fading moon lights.

Ordered my cuc from reefcleaners.org on Friday. Should be here this week. Thinking about buying my goby, pistol shrimp, and 2 porcelain crabs.

Did my morning check on the tank and noticed a large amount of pods on the glass. Guess I didn't need to order more from reefcleaners, oh well the more the merrier!
