From what I've read yes, as long as you dig down and let the foot grab the bottom of the tank you should be fine. I'm kinda SOL BC of the egg crate on the bottom, I hope it doesn't move.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !

Yes not unusual to see them expel waste during acclimation.

It's big but mine never moved much.

Base of a piece of live rock is where they like to foot.

    :)

I made a cave for the foot to fit in, once I did that it really started to open up. I left to go eat dinner and it was probably only 3/4 of the size it is now.

hmm....this has me thinking that perhaps I'd be better off with a carpet with my black and white occellaris than a BTA.....they are beautiful!

I really like the Carpet Anemone! I had been hesitant to add one to any of my tanks because I hear that they can eat fish. This was before I knew that my tanks were too small anyways ::)

    Yup :)

So... it's a bit bigger than what they said. I was told 10", which is pushing it already but i took a chance. I think its pushing 13"-14" right now. Its mouth is still open.

I know! It seems like every time I go look at the tank it gets bigger!
