LOL, but I see your clowns are checking it out.

Once it lays down it will not seem so big.

The oral opening looks fine to me. They do this while acclimating, mine did.

Funny how it makes your tank look smaller.

 

Well it keeps getting bigger. I haven't seen my clowns inspect it yet, I don't think they know what to think lol.

 

That thing is huge! Looks very happy in that spot though.

 

no doubt, that is one big carpet anemone!!

 

I honestly think I need to take it back or sell it. Its too big for my tank.

 

Well I decided it was too big for my tank. A fellow reefer is going to trade me some sps and zoas for it. Ill be on the look out for another smaller carpet anemone though. Probably going to try and place the next one where my clowns sleep, they created a hole in the sand and share it at night.

 

Carpet anemone is gone, ill post up what I got in trade tonight or tomorrow once they open up...

 

Well I couldn't get a decent picture of the zoa frags I got so they won't be going up, but here is the green pocillipora(?) colony I got. Plus one of the Duncan who hasn't opened since taking the carpet anemone out. I think it got touched by a rock or me or the nem, hopefully it comes around. I'm not too worried yet. If its not open tomorrow I'll start investigating.

 

Wow that anemone is so big! It's like half the tank lol.
