nite leds

im having a problem with my night leds on my jbj nano cube hqi 28g they dont seem as bright as they first was when i got the unit plz help i wanna upgrade need sum tips plz add pics if u can ty:-[:-[:-[:-[:-[:-[:-[:-[:-[:-[:-[

 

I'm not trying to step on toes here but lets start with simple things first..

#1 Make sure the glass is clean and free of salt residue
#2 Make sure all connections to your LED is nice and clean and tight..
#3 If possiable check to make sure the heat from you HQI did not cook your LED..
And therefore shorting the life of it..
#4 If this tank is new and you turned on your LED's with no water the LED's will not be as brite when the tank filled with water.( well at least thats the expearance i have had)

Keep in mind theses are things i would check to trouble shoot my own tank..

The gradual dimming of LEDs is what's kept me from going to an all LED system. I hope someone can help you out with this.

 

well mine isn't all led the leds are only for nite use. i called jbj and they are sending me a new circuit board with new leds i whipe down the inside rim on my unit 2 a week i had to mod my hood i was having problems with temp being an meatal Halide system i put for legs on the hood so now its like 7 inches from the aquarium with an seabreese fan over the intake . no i didnt run the unit with out water check out my vids on youtube in search bar type cubansnoopy plz comment ty

 

dont ask for brighter lights -.- i just put a new coralife t5 on my tank and it has only 4 bulbs but that things so bright my fish arent smart to figure its lights out
