buy a few filter socks....make them catch the water that comes from the drain...change them every 3-4days...once uve used them all throw them in the washer with some bleach..run an extra rinse cycle....and ur ready to go again

Was that being sarcastic? haha! so i should just take them out? and have nothing in there filtering it? all of this will be moved to my 29g before friday..But I do have a filter pad, bioballs, i will have about 35lbs of LR inthere, 40lbs of sand..And a skimmer.

take a small piece of live rock from another tank and crush it into tiny bits and use that for media, take the bio balls out.

Nice pic of your tank. Well done!

I would start taking those bio balls out, a few at a time over a couple weeks period, until they are no longer in your tank. Replace them with some chunks of LR. Bio balls, the plastic ones that come with the Bio Cube, are nitrate factories. The current amount of LR in your tank serves as your biological filter with your skimmer removing organics.

I use the API as well, both Salt and Reef Masters. I test all of them and when I am done I rinse them all out and take a paper towel inside each tube until it is clean and dry and looks brand spanking new. If you have some distilled water or some bottled water you might try testing it hoping that you get a reading of 0.

Here is a diagram of my 14g BC I used when I had a bubble problem...

it is a beautiful tank, also that filtration blue-print would work fantastic on a 29 biocube.
