Thanks for the post great article! Interesting never heard of AZ-NO3 (Absolute Zero Nitrates maybe I should look into it, anybody here ever use it?

 

I actually don't agree with some of their points, like a Protein Skimmer directly removing ammonia. The section about "where nitrate comes from" is incorrect. The units outside of supermarkets are not RO/DI units, but are just RO units. There's a big difference there. Their definition of what the Nitrate Factory issue entails, is incorrect.....

I hope I don't sound mean, as this is not my intention. You just have to be careful in believing someone's opinion as correct research. They don't even list references, which is a big first red flag, IMO.

 

I always read everything with a grain of salt without references but it does bring up some interesting points to think about. As with anything else whatever you read should always be backed up by other articles as well confirmed similiar findings/results unless it is a pilot study of some sort.
