The Nitrates are on the rise. I havent had any water problem's in about 8 month's so I forget what causes the nitrates to jump up like they have. The only change is that I feed more now than I did before. Could that be the problem? I went from every other day to every day. I am going to order some more Chaeto and Mangroves but am wondering what caused the sudden spike? Thank's for your time.

Over feeding will cause your No3 to spike.

You can feed every day, but make sure it's of a consistent, small amount. You have to let the bacteria equalize.

what are you feeding daily? A lot of fish don't need that...

    I feed my clowns 2-3x a week...
