    i have no clue what this is. i found it on my rock. it looks almost like a pile of snot but its kinda hard. maybe you know. thanks its right in the middle of the pic. above and to the right of the fish. i know its a little blurry. sorry.

    It's blurry but it looks just like some of the sponges I have in my tank. I've also got some of the same shape and texture but they are yellow and there are a few which are more on the blue side. Sponges are good.

    It is a tunicate, not a sponge! Notive the shape and the multiple osculas(excurrent and incurrent siphons. A tunicate is a little more highly evolved than a sponge!

    Itsa tunicate and I believe a very good filter feeder. Really nice find.
