    Hey all after 6 months of my system being up there is still a few things popping their heads out !!! kinda creepy . this is a new one I just noticed today and its not a hermit crab. let me know what ya think :confused: it is moving around like a crab or a snail but is perfectly circular and im a chicken 5h1t to touch it hahahah

    It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    Some limpets are coral eaters specifically birdsnest (Seriatopora). This may just be opportunistic feeding in the absence of their natural food. If you do not have any sps I would not worry but keep an eye out.

    Looks like those LIMPETS! some of them breathe air maybe it was the freshwater species. I thought they were stationary i think they are closely related to barnacles. OR MAYBE , lets say the limpet died and a different species of snail wanted to move in.....could be an impostor.

    It's a fissurellid, in the Keyhole Limpet family. They are only distantly related to the "limpets" that breathe air (Siphonaria species). Some species (e.g., Diodora genus) don't move much, but they aren't attached like barnacles.
