No clue what this is

    Hello all

    I had reciently bought a chuck of live rock some blue mushrooms green button polyps ittle flower polyps and some mystery plant. Also i have a old shell with some type of polyp growing on it. I have searched the internet high and low to figure out what it is please help.

    It looks brain like(like our brain not the coral) but it's not. I know about the bubble algae but thanks. The edges of it have tiny(and i mean tiny) hairs on it. Pavona maybe but what kind i cant seem to find a type that it looks like

    the "things" growing on the shell is star polyps. Probably green star polyps that lost their color.

    About the Pavona does anyon know what type it is?? I know if a fish rubs against it it quickly reacts and shinks up abit. I never knew pavona could do this.
