No cycle?

    I added 14 Lbs store bought live sand Last Wed.
    I added 14 Lbs Live Rock (12 Manado 2 Bali) Premium Aquatics yesterday
    all Live Rock Cured Shipped overnight

    I test my water and get the following results (API kit)

    Ammonia 0
    Nitrite 0
    Nitrate 5 is my best guess Maybe 10 but looks closer to 5
    PH 7.8
    SG 1.025 (Measured with a refractometer)

    Is it possible I wont get an ammonia or nitrite spike?

    How long should I wait till I begin adding CUC? (Weeks Months )

    add something that'll give you some ammonia and see how fast it moves through your system

    Add What? A dead Shrimp or some CUC or a fish?

    My 14g biocube never cycled, it wasnt new but the guy had it drained for 3 days before i bought it..I put a peice of LR from my 29g that was cured and very mature and I bought aragalive sand from LFS and seeded it with my old sand..I waited for 2 days and nothing happend, added two clowns, nothhing happend,added some softies nothing happend...I never had an algae outbreak or a cycle..
