i dont know if my description will be any help to figure out what this might be, i tried to get a picture but no camera i have can capture it. Its the size of a pin head, translucent, has about 8-9 legs or tentacles they free flow or it moves them. it was sticking to my glass when i noticed it and after a cpl mins it was somewhere else on the glass, it keeps moving or floating somewhere diffrent. Upclose it looks like a tiny jellyfish

With all the critters you have popping up in your tank, this link should serve you well.

    Live Rock Hitch Hikers
Look under the ODDS AND ENDs, section. Sounds like a hydroid jelly to me.

They usually go away on their own. They come in as hydroids on the rock, which release the jellies that'll get on your glass. Once the food source/new tank stuff wears off you'll see fewer of them. We had them in this tank (never had that particular kind before) and I haven't seen one in months. Our tank's 9 months old now.

Just curious did you look at the link?

Because honestly I am just not even going to go effort of posting links anymore if no one is going to read them.

    No offense intended, just curious.
