no/ low light nem

    It won't really care what lighting you put it under. It's likely just hungry and that's why it's not open. It's non-photosynthetic....needs to be hand-fed.

    What is your suggestion on getting it to open...should I squirt it lightly with the ole turkey baster to stimulate it? I imagine it will eat mysis? Thanks!!

    Yep....that should do it. Don't be worried if it doesn't eat the first several times. Feed at roughly the same time each time and they'll eventually stay open all day like many other non-photosynthetic animals.

    sorry for the bad pic .... camera phone obviously and they had it in a bad spot. its in a tank with only actinics running so it looks orangeish its really neon pink.

    the place only has one guy i really trust with advice. the other guys there itst just anothoer job to them ;/ and unfortunately the good guy wasnt there and one guy said its was a no/low light nem and thats all he knew and the other guy told me it wasnt even a nem. ill try to get in there again tomorrow i hope the good guys there :)
