no luck with purple psuedos???

    well the purple psuedo is my gf thingers fav fish.pre tank crash it took 5 to get 1 to live.now post crash everything else is fine nd 3 psuedos down...ughh....they just go into the rocks never to b seen again.any ideas? i highly doubt this is related to the crash btw(dead nem) water tests perfect the tank has lids

    Yeah, did you get them from the same place? Pseudos in general are very hardy.

    I have one and he has been no trouble at all. Definately one of my favorite fish. So purpley :)

    i thought of that,most wer frm the same store.how ever 1 was from another customer who had him for a year.i even held 1 for 3 weeks in my tank then into her tank and sure enough into te rocks n gone.theyr all drip aclimated the same ive done with all my fish/inverts.

    That is really strange!! Pseudos are hardy. I've had mine a year and he's still going strong.

    +1 to above. They like to hide in the rock work witch makes them easy targets for crabs, mantis shrimp etc. That would be my guess.

    hitch hikers r a slim to none chance ....the tank started as base rock and dry sand.+ all the rocks wer removed a d scrubbed down after the tank crashed.no bodies wer ever found but this isnt uncommon.theres probably 200 micro hermits in the tank (55gal)
